Alright-y. A while back I shared the 7 from my YA dark fantasy WIP. Today I'm going to share the 7 from another of my current WIP, a sequel from Truly, Madly, Deeply, You. If you've read Truly Madly, then you know the storyline: Friends to Lovers. This one explores how Frey and Liese take their friendship to the next level. This sequel also introduces two more characters who are completely different from Liese and Frey. They are stubborn, bossy, and have a healthy amount of temperament. She is bossy, he is bossier, he is Alpha she is Alpha-ier. (Is that even a word?) None of them like to lose. But underneath all that, are two hearts willing to go the distance.

So here we go: 

"Do you get high annoying me?" Katarina asked,

"No," Vasyl said, his hands shoved in the front pockets of his faded jeans. The expression on his face shifted. Calm demeanour faded to uncertainity, as he rocked on his heels.  His grey eyes, wide and darker than moments before. "It's the only way I know to get your attention, Katarina, to get you to look at me."

Whoa. This was a side of him she'd never seen before. It was very... unsettling.

She folded her arms across her chest and cleared her throat. "You succeeded. You have two minutes. Talk."

They locked gazes. The air in the room seemed to have a life of its own. He shook his head, swivelled on his heels and left the room.  Her jaw dropped, her eyes glued to the door. What just happened?

Ok, those are not 7, but somehow I couldn't bring myself to finish it midway.

Lucky 7 Meme

I've been Tagged by two wonderful friends,  Liz Davis and Keisha Martin I'm excited to share with you my Lucky 7. Sorry Liz, it took me quite a while, but I'm finally here. :)

In this snippet, the MC - Ana - decides to go check how the boy she saved is doing. So she is in his bedroom, her curiosity having gotten the better of her, and is in for more suprises. The more she gets to know about the soul she saved the more the mystery around the boy deepens.

So, here are my 7 sentences from my WIP Reaper's Novice:

Moments later, I hear the  floor boards on the hallway creak under heavy footfalls. Instinctively, I leap to my feet, my eyes darting around wildly as the footsteps draw closer. Spotting  a closet on my right, I dash toward it, jump inside the closet and rearrange the shirts and trousers to hide me. The footsteps fade, and all I can hear is the drumming in my ears. In my relief, I realise how silly my reaction was. Of course no one can see me veiled in Concealment spell. I shake my head, leave the closet and  turn to walk out of the door, and my hand freezes on the doorknob.

1. Which is your favorite book/ book series?

I thoroughly enjoyed reading Ms Moning's Fever Series, Ms Clare's Mortal Instruments, Ms Singhs Psy-Changeling Series, Twilight Series.. (yes.. I enjoyed that series)

2. How often do you read? 

Everyday, would read every second of the day if that was possible *sigh*




3. Who’s your favorite characters and why?


I just finished reading Tiger's Curse and Dhiren is my new favourite character. Not only is he breath-taking beautiful (and a cursed tiger who is also protective), he is considerate, funny, oh-so dreamy...hahaha - I can't seem to think of any negative side of him. Probably it's because my mind is still on Ren fever. Will have to answer this question a bit later once the effect wears off.

4. What’s your favorite subject you like to read about?

 I enjoy reading romance, whether it's paranormal, UF, dark... in whichever form.




5. For how long do you have a blog and why did you started?


I've had my blog for 5 months now.


6. Where do you live at the moment and where do you want to life in the future?

I live in Vienna. Mmmhh good question. Depends on my kids. When they are all grown up, I'd love to travel a bit. 

7. Which book you like has in your opinion the best film adaption?


   Mmmh, I enjoyed Lord of The Rings. Oh, and The Notebook. 

8. What’s your favorite quote of a book?


Fever series has alot of them. I'll choose one:

9. If you could life in the universe of a book, which would it be?


Gosh, there are a couple I'd love to live in. but I'll have to choose one. The one that comes in my at this moment is Nalini Singh's Psy-changeling universe. Yep.  With all those gorgeous, intense shifters running around.

10. What is your favorite TV series or favorite song at the moment?


I love watching Glee, Vampire Diaries, Fringe and Supernatural. Can't help myself. :D 

My favourite song: For some reason I find myself humming along to Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri.
