''The Truth is Out There''
I am a Sci-fi fan (when done right) and a huge fan of this TV series. As a teen, I'd sit in the living room, my eyes, unblinking, glued to the TV, my heart pounding inside my chest as I watched excitedly, but couldn't pull away. Other than Alien abductions (which I truly loved as a teen) and suff, I enjoyed how Agent Scully and Agent Mulder worked together. Although Scully was at first placed in pretense of helping Mulder with his investigations, they came to find out that they could only trust each other and no one else. I enjoyed watching Scully change from Sceptism as the series progressed, and how their friendship changed from Platonic to romantic (I'm a hopeless romantic).
At times some series were seriously creepy, but very interesting.
Are you fan of X-files or sci-fan?
i started out watching them also--i think i stopped when they just became too far fetched for me
ReplyDeleteI loved the X-Files and have just recently started watching more Sci-Fi. It is such fun when done well, and I love all the imagination that goes into it. Great post for X, makes me want to watch Mulder and Scully again. :)
ReplyDeleteHow could I forget X files. What a great X post. Love it. Huge fan.
ReplyDeleteI liked X-Files but sometimes it was difficult to see what was going on, the sets were so dimly lit;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, yes, I really enjoyed the X Files and do agree that there were a few episodes that scared me silly.
ReplyDeleteLove X-files so much we purchased many of the episodes on DVD. Raised my kids on X-files... it's a good thing. They aren't easily taken in... naturally skeptical?? But we all know, the truth is out there!
ReplyDeleteLove Love Love X files exp David...I miss the show...
ReplyDeleteI was a big X Files fan, and I love sci-fi. I'm happy to see more of it coming out in books nowadays.
ReplyDeleteI too enjoyed the X files....... not to be seen now a days on the telly.
ReplyDeleteThe X-files was definitely a popular TV series.
ReplyDeleteI use the word x-files in a playful manner, when somebody speaks out of turn and is just about ready to betray a confidence or offer TMI, then I say "don't expose the x-files"... LOL!
