My thoughts:

Soul Survivor is unique Story. It starts off with Hailee meeting with Alex, then realises she is more than what she thought she was. And that Alex is her Guardian angel. On top of that they are falling inlove pretty fast. 
I love this concept about Darkness and Light because Hailee is pulled pulled in both directions and is unable to choose between Alex the good Boy-light and Seth the bad Boy -Darkness. But there is more going on than just romance. Hailee has difficult decisions to make. This Story is about finding out who you are, accepting it. Your fate. There were some shifts in tense which Kind of bothered me because  I had to go back and reread the sentences -but maybe that's just a writer's quirk  (me). :)
 If you are looking for anothe spin on Angels, pick this one up! I really enjoyed it.

Today I will share with you a snippet from How Many Ways (Truly Madly short story)

Frey fought to keep his eyes on her face, but lost the battle. His hands fell to his sides. His gaze dipped low and hovered on her breasts, then down and quickly up again. He couldn't linger down there. Otherwise he'd lose control. It was already frayed as it was.

"God, you're beautiful, Sweet Li," he said. "Your beauty surpasses my imagination."

"You've imagined how I look?"

"A million times, but those images don't come close to this." Frey brought his mouth to hers, but kissed the side of her mouth instead. He nibbled and kissed her jaw, avoiding her lips knowing if he kissed her sweet mouth it would be over before it began. She tilted her head to meet his lips and whimpered when he didn’t fulfil her wish.

"Your mouth, your kiss is addictive and I want this to last. If I do kiss you, I'm afraid I might not last," he murmured in her ear. “Liese, you have no idea how many ways I've imagined touching you–really touching you. How many ways I’ve dreamt about making sweet love to you." Frey slid his fingertips down her spine to the small of her back and her knees buckled. He scooped her in his arms swiftly before she slipped on the floor, brought his mouth to her ear and whispered, “You are mine, Liese and I promise to show you.” He carried her to their bedroom and lay her on the bed.

I would love to share with you a Scene from my upcoming Paranormal Romance with Fantasy and steampunk elements, Homecoming. This Scene is not part of the entry, just something steamy to start the fest.

 

His gaze dropped to her mouth, and he trailed his thumb over her lower lip, transfixed. His mouth tugged faintly at the corners as it came crashing down on hers, rough like his voice and impatient and desperate. His tongue swept across her lips, seeking entrance, and she opened up to him, let him claim her. He showed her how much he’d missed her with his lips, telling her she was his with his fingers gliding along her jaw, then folding on her neck and pulling her close. So close no air passed between their bodies. He deepened the kiss, sliding his hands to her hips and pulling her flush to his body, his claws digging into her skin. The kiss, the way he held her, reminded her of the last kiss he’d bestowed on her before she left him. Passionate. Reverent. Tender. A kiss that said “You are all mine. Mine until the end of time.”

Her hands slid up to circle his neck and pulled him lower, wanting more, everything. Her fingers skated their way up to dig into his cropped hair and she moaned. Gods, she was powerless to him.

He groaned at her response, pinning her to the wall with his hips. “Sera,” he murmured against her lips, following the words with a nip of fangs on her lips. “My Sera.”

My swoon today :

In this moment I'm not thinking about last night.  I don't care who saw or what happened. All  I can concentrate on are the curve of his lips. The muscles in his abs and how they ripple.

"Shits." he lifts his hand and I'm surprised when he touches my hair. "You're really trying to kill me, aren't you?" You're eating me alive with your eyes." Then, he pulls me to him, his tongue gently probing my mouth. I open up and let his lips wipe away any residue of thoughts besides Colt and what he's doing to me.

"Come here," he says against my mouth and then he's kissing me again.
